meema's felted marsupial tote
Pattern: Meema’s Felted Marsupial Tote from SnBYarn/Color: 2 strands Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Worsted Blue Magic, 1 strand Bulky Gray
1st challenging project and intended just for me!
Since the pattern doesn’t exactly tell you on which needle to pick up the stitches from the bottom (the right one with all the stitches on it), there was much cursing, flinging, and incorrect picking up stitches in this project. I even took out the stitches too far once, and since I had no clue at this point on how to correct any mistakes, I ripped out the whole 44 rows of the bottom and reknit it. After that it was pretty easy, the felting hid most weirdness. I’d do some things differently with the binding off for the hole in the middle, but I’m very pleased with the results!
