This is for those of use who thought knitting and yarn and merino wool were fine and dandy because they just shave the wool off the sheep, right?

How do we know if the wool we’re using is from Australia? I don’t think there’s any way to know… The yarn manufacturers can use wool from anywhere, right? They don’t list it on the label. Jeez Louise, just when you thought you were an innocent knitter spreading the joy of handknit items, our beloved Merino wool is villified!
